i heart faces: all boy

My entry for the June 2012 i heart faces photo challenge "All Boy" is my son, Matthew. Taken yesterday, on a cold and damp afternoon, my kids were outside playing with helium filled balloons. He was having a grand time, and his expression just captures everything that my boy is to me: pure joy!

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth
empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
hang out the washing and butter the bread,
sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

The cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow,
for children grow up, I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
